Three different San Diego WFC SeaLions scored goals to defeat San Diego Parceiro Ladies 3-0 in their home opener at Cathedral Catholic Manchester Stadium on Saturday night.

Cassie Callahan (25'), Cori Deason (33') and Rosie Tantillo Colon (42') found the back of the net to propel the SeaLions to a 3-0 halftime lead. After the break, San Diego WFC continued the pressure and peppered Parceiro's goal with shots, but failed to add to their score.

Maria Andreyev made several big saves to preserve the clean sheet in earning her second win of the season.

Kiera Bucchino extended her point streak to two with an assist on the first goal by Callahan. Elise Britt was credited with the assist on Deason's goal. Colon earned Player of the Match honors with a goal and a solid performance in the midfield.

San Diego WFC returns to WPSL action in a road contest against LA Galaxy San Diego next Saturday, June 8, 5:00 p.m.
