SeaLions clinch the WPSL Pac-South San Diego Division
Lili Andino and Cori Deason scored goals within a four-minute span in the first half to lead the San Diego WFC SeaLions to the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) Pac-South San Diego Division championship with a 2-0 road win over the San Diego Parceiro Ladies on Saturday afternoon at Madison High School Stadium. The SeaLions remained unbeaten and atop the table with a 7-0-0 record and 21 points.

San Diego WFC, who controlled their own destiny entering the match, tallied in the 15th minute on an Andino strike off a pass from Victoria Gershwin. Minutes later, Deason converted a penalty kick to give the SeaLions a 2-0 advantage that they would never relinquish. Goalkeepers Maria Andreyev (7-0-0, 0.33) and Sophie Garrido split duties to preserve the shutout.

The SeaLions conclude their regular season next Saturday, June 29, 7:30 p.m., at Cathedral Catholic Manchester Stadium against the San Diego Surf on Fan Appreciation Night before making a return visit to the WPSL Playoffs.
